The holes in the 'arms' I interpret as being screaming faces, whereas the purple highlights make me think of highly concentrated electricity, something akin to the feeling you get when you're pressured I find.
Since the colour palette is very cool and calming and the patterns are so pretty, this isn't something I'd relate to being under pressure, so it's interesting to try and look at it through this lens.
